Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-Spanish, half-English woman was born on April 16th, 1996, in Miami Florida. A half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. The father of her is Argentine who is of Scottish and English descendance. Her mother is Spanish as well as English descent. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children, four were born to Taylor's father's previous marriage. The family was within Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy was 6 years old, later moving to Victoria district in London. Taylor Joy states that the move to England was very traumatic. She refused to learn English and hoped she could relocate back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school when she moved from Northlands. In the following years, she attended Queen's Gate School and studied ballet. At the age of 16, she dropped out of school in order to make a career of acting. Taylor-Joy's desire to be an acting star began when she was just a child. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the first one who hired her as a professional model.
