Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles on 8 August 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle managed her as she entered her teens. The acting career of Meagan Good began around the age of four. Her family was from Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. At the beginning of her career she appeared as an actress in TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. In 1995 at 13 she was cast in her debut film Friday. Her first recognition came from her part as the problematic teen Cisely Batiste in the film Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she received two award nominations. The first was an N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominee. Good took small film roles and television part during a couple of years prior to transitioning to more mature roles. On Nickelodeon's Cousin Sceeter she performed the role of Nina. show that ran from 1998 until 2001. She also landed small role on the show from 1998 to 2001. She also landed minor roles in the shows House Party: Down to the end of the night and 3 Strikes. In 2003, she portrayed Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. She was a part of D.E.B.S in 2004, an action-comedy film, which got her nominated for Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Then, she was featured in several films, including You GotServed The Cookout Venom One missed call the waist deep as well as The Love Guru. While on both T.V. in films, she portrayed Mya on the show Think Like a Man with the help of many actors as well as Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional Friends. This reality series revolved around stars who relocated to an Hollywood California house.
