Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was born into an ethnically diverse family. She has a father who is Nigerian as well as Swiss and the mother of her is English. She grew on the South London community estate, as a teenager, she 14she enrolled in The Brit School. She earned her BA in acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She appeared on stage in numerous productions during her time at school such as King Henry V, as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Over the past few years, Madekwe has appeared in Teachers and Doctors. Madekwe's breakout came with 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was co-starring Colin Farrell (who played the role of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. In the following film, she appeared in Elisha on the BBC Three pilot drama, in West 10 LDN. In her role, she also played Ollie for six episodes of Trexx, Flipside, and Flipside. In 2008, she had the opportunity to play the part of Bambi on the ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in three and two series. Madekwe starred as the lead character in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy made in the year 2008. Her theatre credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams and Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe officially made her US debut in the series The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was eventually cancelled. The actress was selected in February 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. In May of 2013, it was announced that Madekwe, who been a series regular in the past two seasons, was to leave the series after a guest-appearance in the first episode of the season's new episode. She played Tituba in the TV program Salem in 2014 until 2016. Madekwe was married to her long-time love, Iddo. Both of them have been in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared as a couple in Salem.
Ashley Leggat, an actress that was nominated two times for the Gemini Award, is a member of an extensive Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty and her other siblings, Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. The brothers of Ashley were extremely athletic, and they played baseball as well as hockey during the winter and summer months. She grew up in baseball and arenas. Ashley did not walk, but she danced, so at age two and a half she took up Baby Ballet -and she fell in love. Ashley became a dancer immediately. Ashley performed in competitive tap, jazz and ballet in high divisions. She was the top soloist in big competitions, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
