American actor and rapper Earl Simmons, born December 18, 1970, and died April 9 2021. He began his rap career in the early 1990s . He released his debut album , It's Dark and Hell is Hot in 1998, to the delight of critics and commercial success, selling 251,000 copies in the first week of release. The artist was the first in history to have an album debut at No.1 in the Billboard 200 charts five times consecutively. Seven times DMX sold more than 74 million albums worldwide. [8] DMX was in films like Belly, Romeo Must Die and Exit Wounds. He appeared as DMX: Soul of a Man in the reality TV series. This was primarily aired via the BET cable television network Never Die Alone. He wrote E.A.R.L., his memoirs in 2003. After serving time in prison then he began writing his own lyrics , and also performing in the local recreation center for kids who were younger than he. In prison for carjacking it was his favorite time to spend his time writing lyrics. He also began to rap with K.Solo. 3. When he was released in the summer He began creating and selling mixtapes of his own where he performed raps over instrumentals from other songs and sold them on street corners which helped him develop a fan base locally across New York.
